A coursework project for the Web Design course at CSUMB. Everyone in the class was tasked to design and develop a simple music player website with predetermined "colorful" songs, and give the site a design metaphor to fit with the colorful theme.
I chose neon lights as my design metaphor and created the website from scratch using HTML and CSS with flexbox structure, then coded the music player functionality into it with JavaScript and jQuery. The neon glow effects are purely CSS, namely animated text shadows.
The website is still hosted through GitHub pages, but I have removed the audio files from it to avoid any copyright problems.
Mock-up of the website was designed using Sketch.
The final product closely resembles the design, though a few things were deliberately changed.
