My bachelor's thesis for HAMK. A project group was assembled to develop an application for Android to aid elderly people with their day-to-day life. I took the job of UI designer in the team. It was my first real hands-on experience as a designer.
I had three months to research best practices, design the user interface of our app and write my thesis. The thesis is written in Finnish, but the abstract is in English as well. The thesis document also includes the UI specification as an appendix.
A prototype of the app was made using FluidUI.
While the design was mainly meant for Android, an iPhone version mock-up was also made.
